Grammarly is such an innovative platform wherein you can edit what your sentence is conveying to your audience, it allows you the freedom to express what you wish to write, but it also aids in creating a better form of clarity within your writing as to be able to convey what you find important to your audience in a correct manner where there is less confusion about what your thesis or main idea is. No matter how bogged up or how much writer’s block you may contrive it helps to create a more fluid function wherein, for example in my workspace, it allows your own personal “editor” to help create more clarity within your work, especially for myself, who struggles with spelling and other grammatical errors. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it thus far and it is safe to say ill be using it more often, for helping with future papers, emails, and other career endeavors which involve writing.

Mary, thank you for letting me know about the grammarly app. Of all the apps/ tools that are new to me - this one is probably the one I needed most. English is my second language. I struggle often with the English grammar. It is so frustrating to know what I want to say/write and not being able to put it just right. This will make my life so much easier!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think Grammarly is a great tool for both students and professionals. It is very useful for proof reading and checking to make sure papers and other assignments have correct spelling and grammar. Employees in any field could benefit from using Grammarly, because it helps check any document to make sure it is done as professional as possible. I have used this tool before for spell and grammar checks, but I was not as familiar with some of the other features it includes.
ReplyDeleteI have used Grammarly since high school and it has helped me the most because it does more than just spell-checking. For any kind of paper or project I have to write I make sure that I can Grammarly to help my writing. Your presentation helped me understand more about this web tool that I will be using in the future.
ReplyDeleteMary, Grammarly for me has been a lifesaver. I struggle with grammar and like to double check my writing which grammarly is great for. This platform has helped my grades tremendously and is used constantly by me.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! Grammarly is such a great tool especially for students. I think you did a great job on informing us on how it works. Being that I personally use this tool for my papers, I think that having the option to check and have almost a second pair of eyes on assignments is really great. It’s almost like a secret weapon. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteMary I enjoy Grammarly as I have used it for writing many papers so I think I was able to appreciate your smackdown on a personal note. It is such a helpful tool on how to be better writers which is important for all of us academics. I think the application might be used in all levels of education in the near future as it has proven to deliver satisfactory results.
ReplyDeleteYeah I will definitely be trying this tool out Mary. I hate writing essays and assignments that I personally don't feel a drive to write about. Seems like this tool could help me get the ball rolling and assist me with better paragraph structure.

OH how i love this app. this is website saved my butt when it came to writing papers! this app is amazing in so many way! it helped me alot to fix my papers i love writing papers and this app helped me to proof read better and find my mistakes i may have missed and fixed them! it even lets you pick a format of the proper way to write and fix certain words to match the genre of the paper. love this app well done on this presentation!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! I love Grammarly. I find at times it can mess up grammar checks, especially if I add or take away a sentence before I use the function. I really enjoy the options of tone of voice such as formal, informal, and the little emojis depicting tone are adorable.

ReplyDeleteHey Mary!! I love grammarly and it has absolutely helped me significantly. I have a speech impediment which results in my spelling being below average. I was instructed by my speech therapist to download grammarly. This can definitely help in a professional setting, grammarly is a second pair of eyes that corrects your work. I can definitely see myself putting my email through grammarly before I send it to my boss.
Hey Mary!! grammarly is a significant tool that I use. I have it as an extension, and I can't even tell you how many times it's been able to spot mistakes and spelling errors, as well as grammar ones that I didn't even recognize. I used grammarly to write my college essay and it perfected a lot of errors, as well as unnecessary words that were just junk. Grammarly is almost like an editor for your own work that just corrects everything for you and looks over your work. I loved this tool!! Great work :))
ReplyDeleteI love grammarly. it helps with all of my stupid little spelling mistakes and makes my writing easier for everyone to understand for all of my college essays and project homeworks, I will definitely continue to use it.
ReplyDeleteGrammarly has save my life many time. I am not the best at spelling. I learned about this app last semester when a teacher suggested it and now i use it for everything. It has helped me with essay and believe it or not i have even download it to my keyboard on my phone for the small dumb tying errors i make when writing a text message or an email from my phone.
ReplyDeleteHello Mary, I do not even know where to start. This app has been a lifesaver on many occasions, often times we type away and mess up on typing. Rather than pressing backspace and everything Grammarly just lets us click the misspelled word and fix it, a very quick fix. I like how you said whether you have writers block or something this can help you come up with something and make it sound fluid. This is very true, when I type I like to keep a fluid pace and I would not be able to do that if I did not have this quick fix helping me every step of the way.
